Cumberland
Located in Clinton, Laurel, McCreary, Pulaski, Russell and Wayne counties in South-Central Kentucky, the lake's shoreline measures over 1,200 miles and the lake is spread over 65,000 acres. The reservoir ranks 9th in the U.S. with a capacity of 6 million acre-feet of water, enough to cover the entire Commonwealth of Kentucky with 3 inches of water. The main lake is 101 miles long and about 1.5 miles across at its widest point.
